I am a concerned resident who moved to Connewarre believing in the tranquility and beauty of the place with an admiration for its conservation, environmental and agricultural landscapes. A recent wakeboarding park proposal threatens to disrupt this peaceful harmony. It is especially concerning since the park's proposed location is right opposite the airport which could lead to increased traffic and potential accidents. Plus, the environmental impact of such a project could be catastrophic, leading to immeasurable damage to our local flora and fauna. 

I have discovered that many in the community are still not aware of the council meeting scheduled on 22nd August to discuss this proposal.
