Stop the Use of Glyphosate Weed Killer
Stop the Use of Glyphosate Weed Killer
The Issue
Being a dog owner myself to my beautiful little Coco Bean puppy, I am deeply concerned about the widespread use of Glyphosate weed killer in East Sussex. This chemical has been linked to numerous health issues, Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and skin irritation.Including cancer, liver disease, and reproductive problems. Studies have shown that exposure to Glyphosate can make people very unwell and even cause death. Our pets are also at risk; they can easily come into contact with treated areas during walks or playtime.
Glyphosate is not only harmful to humans and animals but also detrimental to our environment. It contaminates soil and water sources, affecting wildlife and biodiversity. The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified Glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans."
We need safer alternatives for weed control that do not jeopardize our health or the well-being of our beloved pets. Please join me in urging local authorities in East Sussex to ban the use of Glyphosate weed killer immediately.
