If you can’t teach a class without the use of AI you shouldn’t be a teacher because how do you expect kids to learn from somebody who doesn’t even know what they’re talking about. Kids everyday are already forced to look at AI slop from social media, why do we need to bring slop in a place that’s supposed to be safe place for education. AI is bad enough ruining our environment when does this end if not at our schools. Some people may say “oh its easier to do it this way”  but my argument for that is “Just because its easier doesn’t mean its good for you if everything becomes easier then how are we supposed to learn from our actions.” From the article “The risks of AI in schools outweighs the benefits, report says” it states that “When kids use generative AI that tells them what the answer is … they are not thinking for themselves. They're not learning to parse truth from fiction. They're not learning to understand what makes a good argument.
