Having lived doors down from the proposed site for new 5G cell towers in Burbank, I am deeply concerned - not only for my own family, but for our entire community. The city of Burbank recently approved the installation of six large 5G cell towers atop a building that is mere feet away from our homes. This building is centrally located between two preschools and an elementary school, potentially putting nearly 2,000 students at risk. 

As scientific studies have shown, there are potential health risks associated with protracted exposure to 5G radiation, especially for children who are more susceptible due to their developing bodies (source: Environmental Health Trust). It isn't only a matter of health. The ill-judged decision to permit these towers also risks impacting our property values and local businesses, from concerns over this very exposure.

This decision by the city of Burbank seems to entirely disregard public interest and our well-being, installing towers without significant dialogue with the communities directly affected. For the sake of our children and our community's future, we need to send a clear message.

Let us urge the city of Burbank to reconsider this decision, explore safer alternatives for broadband expansion, and prioritize the health and wellbeing of its citizens over tech upgrade. Sign this petition to voice your resistance to the proposed 5G cell towers and protect our community.
