We were previously assured that our beloved town clock, presently situated at Morgan Square, wouldn’t be moved again. This town clock isn't just a piece of the city's infrastructure; it's an icon that we hold dear. The decision to move it away pains those of us who invested our time, money, and emotions into its current home.

Years ago, when the clock was previously relocated, a promise was made to the citizens of our community that it would not be moved again. Many dedicated citizens contributed towards the costs of the previous move through the "Penny Project", and our names are forever enshrined within the clock itself. This bears testament to our commitment to preserving the clock's location as a central part of our cherished town.
