Stop the University of Rochester from Conducting Inhumane Cat Experiments

Stop the University of Rochester from Conducting Inhumane Cat Experiments
The Issue
I am deeply disturbed and heartbroken by the cruel and inhumane experiments being conducted on innocent cats at the University of Rochester. These tests involve implanting metal rods into cat's skulls, slaughtering them, and harvesting their eyeballs for science testing. This practice is not only horrifying but also completely unnecessary.
According to Cruelty Free International, an estimated 115 million animals are used in experiments worldwide each year (source: Cruelty Free International). This includes cats who are subjected to painful procedures without any guarantee of significant scientific advancement. The use of animals in research is a contentious issue with many questioning its ethics and effectiveness.
The University of Rochester has a responsibility to uphold ethical standards in research. It's time they put an end to these cruel practices that cause immense suffering to innocent creatures. We demand that they cease all cat testing experiments immediately.
Innocent cats should not be harmed or slaughtered for the sake of science experiments and lab testing. This practice is disgusting, inhumane, and needs to be stopped immediately. Please join me in urging the University of Rochester to stop these horrific practices now by signing this petition.
