Stop the unfair seizure of xl bullies #FreeZino

Stop the unfair seizure of xl bullies #FreeZino
The Issue
My heart aches as I share the story of my XL Bully, Zino. An affectionate and gentle companion, Zino was seized from me for reasons that are utterly unfair. With no history of aggression or incidents, Zino's removal has left a void in my life and spreads fear among other responsible XL Bully owners.
XL Bullies, like Zino, are often misunderstood and unfairly stereotyped as dangerous. In reality, they are loving family members for many, exhibiting loyalty and affection. However, recent actions by authorities have led to an increasing number of these dogs being seized without substantial grounds.
It is crucial to spread awareness about the unjust treatment these animals and their owners are facing. Numerous reports have demonstrated that aggression in dogs is not breed-specific. In fact, a 2020 study published in the journal Scientific Reports found that individual history, training, and handling of a dog were more influential in predicting aggression than the dog's breed.
By targeting specific breeds, authorities are not only disregarding scientific evidence but are also punishing responsible and loving owners who have done nothing wrong. It’s time to change this narrative and approach the issue with understanding and evidence based policies.
We are calling on lawmakers and animal control authorities to halt the seizure of XL Bullies based solely on their breed. We propose enforcing existing animal control laws that focus on individual dog behavior and owner responsibility, rather than outdated breed specific legislation.
Join us in telling authorities that it's time to listen to science, protect our beloved pets, and treat all dogs fairly, without prejudice. Please sign this petition to support Zino and countless other XL Bullies that risk losing their homes unjustly. Your signature matters and can lead to meaningful change in how authorities handle breed-related issues. Let's protect our furry friends and advocate for responsible pet ownership, not discriminatory practices.
I also want to say thank you to everyone whos shown support already I am so grateful but let's keep pushing to try get zino and other xl bullies back to there owners
