Firstly, I just want to say a BIG thank you for your support for wanting to save Burswood Park from being developed into a Motor Street Circuit!
Since the petition started, my local community in Burswood has been active in reaching out to politicians (on all sides of politics) to voice our concerns about the proposed development. They are also sharing the petition and creating awareness in a range of different ways.
One of these involves creating videos which give people (like you) the opportunity to deliver a direct message to the WA Premier, The Hon. Roger Cook MLA about their concerns for a proposed Motor Street Circuit being built at Burswood Park.

Time is of the essence!
The WA Labor Government has mentioned repeatedly it will commit to going ahead with developing the Motor Street Circuit at Burswood Park if it is re-elected at the State Election on Saturday 8 March. If this happens, the repercussions for Burswood Park will be catastrophic!

- Send an email to the Premier, Roger Cook (and/or any of his ministers), sharing your concerns about this development: roger.cook@mp.wa.gov.au ; wa-government@dpc.wa.gov.au ; kwinana@mp.wa.gov.au
- Contact your local member and let them know you aren't happy with the Government's decision to spend YOUR tax dollars on a Motor Street Circuit in Burswood. Suggest something else you would prefer the money is spent on.
- Post your own messages on social media, and don't forget to use the tag #saveburswoodpark
- Email saveburswoodpark@gmail.com if you would like to be in a video (refer link above) or want to offer your support in some other way.
- If you are a registered voter in Western Australia, be sure to make your vote count on 8 March.
