The lies in this hit piece are comical . They are trying to say the insecticides that kill ants are not poisons. 

There are no selective insecticides and non of them are safe.

@abcnews_au this is so embarrassing for you. This makes people distrust you. You need to apologise to your readers and to Sarah McGuire who has been misquoted. 

Anyone can look at what these poisons do. 

The fire ant program’s use of chemicals like fipronil, hydramethylnon, S-methoprene, and pyriproxyfen raises serious concerns. These substances have been linked to:
