The hunting season ends in Spain on February 1st, "La Dia Del Galgos". Meaning there will be around 50-100,000 dogs discarded, hung, shot, and left to tend to themselves on the streets, after either years of hard work and faithfulness for their owners or a short, painful life. On the streets of Spain, you will begin to more commonly see dogs roaming around, looking for food, and struggling to stay alive. This needs now to be stopped more than any other time of year.
