S. P. R.O.G  Stands for Sustained Project of Rural Obsolescence and Ghettoisation. ( Isolation and deprivation of a community by those in power. Based on location, social status or beliefs) That’s happening in Newmarket right now!

In the past year we have seen a rapid decline in Amenities and transport in Newmarket. Resulting in intolerable living conditions for people living and working in and around Newmarket.

1. Cuts to bus routes 
2. Closure of Public Toilets 
3. Continuation of street lights off at midnight.
4. Overgrown green spaces ( making cycle paths dangerous and causing flooding of road drainage)
5. Unrepaired roads and car parks 
6. Not enough: Doctors, Dentist, School places.
7. Badly maintained children’s playgrounds (and not enough of them)

These are the 7 SINS of local government.

All while our Council tax has gone up, by maximum allowable.

Well Newmarket residents say NO more of this. We need to end the Town within a Town mentality of local decision makers.

change these 7 situations or we will be forced to take peaceful action.
