More and more animal welfare organisations are joining Joined Forces for Crete’s Animals and standing together to demand real change for stray animals in Crete.

But this is only the beginning.

Our next step is to bring this movement directly to the local level by involving businesses, hotels, restaurants, veterinarians and local supporters across the island.

Because real change can only happen if everyone works together:
local people, rescuers, tourists, organisations, businesses and authorities.

This issue needs much broader attention.
The suffering of stray animals is not an “isolated rescue problem.”
It is a structural problem that has been ignored for far too long.

We want to support and highlight the people and businesses already helping animals.
At the same time, we want to increase pressure where responsibility is still being ignored.
