We want to thank our Council leaders, Dan Dugan & Jan Hemming, the Director of Transportation, Jon Larson, the Director of Communities, Blake Thomas, the Salt Lake City Mayor Chief of Staff, Rachel Otto, Taylor Hill and Hanna Barton and all others who were in attendance in our meeting yesterday. We had a positive discussion about our concerns regarding fast-tracking this project and the lack of community engagement. We asked the City to consider all possible traffic-calming options and we're hopeful they will postpone until a proper vetting process can be done to ensure that the residents of these neighborhoods receive not only a solution, but the best solution for our streets.
