COALITION'S FORMAL REQUEST SENT TO CDFW
We have important good news for everyone. On Thursday, we sent our formal request to CDFW to deny the Conservancy's permit application because it violates the law, lacks the science, and failed to consider the desires and perspectives of the over 15,000 of you that have a stake in this decision. We think our arguments were sound and compelling and we have every confidence that the CDFW will consider our position carefully. We are not sharing this letter with you now because we must give the CDFW the time they need to for their review. We will keep you posted on this big development.

UNUSUAL HUNTING ACTIVITY ON THE ISLAND
Hunting on Catalina Island is strictly regulated by California and Conservancy rules. Many island residents have reported seeing highly unusual hunting activity this season. If you see activity that you know is prohibited or you believe is suspicious, PLEASE report it directly to CDFW. Information on how to do that is linked here. FYI that you can file reports anonymously.
