Millions of American citizens are at risk of having their right to vote stripped from them- unless they spend hundreds of dollars on specific paperwork.

On April 10th 2025 the House passed the SAVE Act along to the Senate, a bill which will automatically make American citizens ineligible to vote if the name on their legal ID doesn't match the one on their birth certificate. Before passing this bill, they also voted to block an amendment which would have protected the voting rights of millions of married Americans citizens. So unless you have the funds (which can be upwards of $200) to obtain the "correct paperwork" your right to vote will be taken away.

This is voter suppression, not protection. This is a poll tax hidden behind formal dialogue. This is an attack on the rights and freedoms of millions of married people, majorly women, and minorites across the country.
