Hello! I have not forgotten about these efforts that we are all doing. It seems as Animal Control, Chief Middleton, is not responding to my inquiries. I just spoke with the Captain of the Menifee Police Department, Captain Gutierrez. He informed me that Chief Middleton and him had a conversation about "my" petition and issues. They felt that the problem of selling puppies was not that big of a problem. I suggested that they start looking at social media sites such as Nextdoor to see the number amount of people breading dogs. I also advised him that in about one month I will be proposing changes to our City Ordinance. I explained that it seems that there is a complete disconnect between the residents and what they perceive as a problem with dogs, and what the PD and AC believe is happening. 

Residents are fed up and we want movements. I communicated to him that residents want to get involved and we want to be a part of the solution. 

IF you see a post about selling puppies, you can call AC to let them know. Supposedly they will investigate. I am going to try to do that and see what kind of response I receive. It will be indicative to see if what I am told is truly happening. 

I would suggest you also do that and let me know of your experience. We must continue with our efforts until AC, PD and the City Council agreed that there is an issue and it is being addressed.
