The selling of wire hay racks and hay balls, marketed for small animals, is one of the many detrimental untruths propagated by these corporations. These items pose serious risks to small animals, with a number of recorded incidents resulting in lethal consequences.

It's crucial to understand the breadth of this issue. The American Pet Products Association (APPA) reported that in 2020, roughly 14 million households in the U.S own small animals, a significant proportion of which could be potential victims of these harmful products. As compassionate caretakers and concerned law-abiding citizens, we should take note of the dangers these accessories pose to our little companions' safety and general welfare.
