After years of being treated like I didn’t matter, today I write this with a roof over my head. I’ve signed a rental agreement and finally have a place to call home again.
No more sofas.
No more refusals.
No more silence.
This is more than housing. This is a victory against systemic neglect — a brick laid in the foundation of a new beginning, built on truth. They tried to erase me. Instead, I stood tall and reclaimed my place.
