Hi everyone, my name is Alexandra, and I’m part of the Civic Engagement Team at Change.org. Our mission is to connect petition supporters with decision makers and help foster healthy, constructive civic engagement in our communities.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) confirmed that the petitions circulating on this issue are part of the district’s Comprehensive Boundary Review. FCPS shared that the Boundary Explorer Tool—the primary way to submit public input—is open through today, Friday, November 14. Feedback submitted there will be shared with the consultant team and the Superintendent’s Boundary Review Advisory Committee.

 Where to Take Action (Today)

  • 🗣️ Submit feedback: Use the comment feature on the Boundary Explorer Tool linked on FCPS’s Comprehensive Boundary Review webpage.
  • 👥 Contact your pyramid representative: Find your representative on the Advisory Committee Member page and reach out directly.
  • 📬 Stay informed: Check the FAQs (updated throughout the process), sign up for the Boundary Review newsletter, and bookmark the Boundary Review webpage.
  • 🏛️ Connect with your elected reps: Visit the FCPS School Board Members page, which includes a “Find Your School Board Member” lookup by address.

    Helpful Tip!
When submitting feedback through the Boundary Explorer Tool, be clear about your school or pyramid, your address area, and the specific impacts you’re seeing—such as transportation, program continuity, sibling alignment, capacity, or walk/bike safety. Concise, concrete points help the review team evaluate tradeoffs more effectively.
