The Zoning Advisory Committee voted 5-4 to recommend Option 4A, which sends Smithridge students to Vaughn Middle School and Damonte Ranch High School. The four who opposed wanted Option 4, which sent Smithridge to Depoali Middle School and Damonte Ranch High School.

Now, the Board of Trustees makes the final say and will vote on this on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. Email them at publiccomments@washoeschools.net.
