We, the undersigned residents, community members and animal lovers, respectfully petition for the Splash Rock feral cat colony to remain at Splash Rock, together with their existing cat shelters.

The Splash Rock Cats are a small, established colony of fewer than 20 cats. All the cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and are in good health.

The colony has not increased in number over the past few years and is being responsibly managed by caring local residents who provide food and monitor the cats.

We believe that responsible management through sterilisation, vaccination, monitoring and community involvement is a humane and practical way of managing the colony.

We respectfully ask that Ray Nkonyeni Law Enforcement and the SPCA:

🐾 Allow the Splash Rock Cats to remain at Splash Rock.

🐾 Allow their existing shelters/houses to remain.

🐾 Continue supporting a responsible Trap-Neuter/Vaccinate-Return approach.

🐾 Consult with the residents and people currently caring for the colony before any cats are removed or relocated.
