Arrowhead Stadium has been more than just a venue; it has been a symbol of pride and tradition for more than a half century. A landmark of the city, the nation, and a monument of the NFL.  It is a defining part of the NFL story and a part of the history of the nation. The decision to relocate the franchise across state lines to a new facility undermines the years of support and loyalty the people of Missouri, Kansas, and countless surrounding fans have shown. A place where memories are made, legends are born, where the community unites, where Derrick Thomas sat on the field in a downpour, a home where B-2 Spirits have roared overhead at the crescendo of the National Anthem. Arrowhead is more than just any stadium, it is as much a part of the foundation of the team as the uniform. The identity of the organization is anchored to this place, a place like no other, called Arrowhead Stadium.

Now, all of this history and connection is being threatened by a move to Kansas, driven by corporate greed and crony capitalism. Despite an abnormally generous offer from Missouri taxpayers, which includes significant financial incentives to renovate and maintain the stadium, the Chiefs are attempting to relocate. This move not only disrespects the deep-seated loyalty of the fans but also undermines decades of local support, the NFL prestige, and the recent tax payer support to fund GEHA renovation, undermining the support that has turned every game day into a resounding chorus of "Home of the Chiefs!" Arrowhead is the Chiefs. Moving the Chiefs out of Arrowhead erases this historic identity and ignores the community that has given so much to the identity of the team. The community spirit, the economic benefits, and the cultural significance all hang in the balance.

We must stand together and demand that the NFL stop this affront to the prestige and history of the NFL and  stop this affront to the loyalty of the fans. The Chiefs owners must reconsider this reckless decision.

This is a call for Chiefs fans and NFL fans to boycott the games, boycott all Chiefs merchandise purchases in protest of the possible relocation. A pledge to boycott a new Chiefs facility in Kansas.
