There was a great turnout at the meeting Monday night. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and to several of you that spoke. Your words were well thought out and clear. Everyone spoke passionately and respectfully which has a great impact.
Here is the link to the Planning Meeting last night. It is agenda item 6A and starts 47 minutes in.
The most important steps are yet to come! We ARE making progress and this is a journey. We are building momentum. More residents are learning about this issue. There are still many that don't know about it.
(2:20- 2:31 is the dialogue about next steps) The developer needs to submit their formal proposal with the site plan and their conditional rezoning request. It seems that it will be too late to submit for the March meeting but that is a little unclear.
Please continue sharing flyers and encouraging your friends and neighbors to post signs. Signs can be requested here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc72jfBRHXrEM7bWOTCh_YKWxNqdD1bSdKtcRgFFVoCCwK5bg/viewform?usp=sf_link
As an additional note- The Planning Commission is going to start going through the ordinances in the Master Plan in the third Thursday of every month in March, April, May.
This will be an additional meeting for the Planning Commission every month. The Planning Commission will be looking at "tweaking" zoning zone by zone in groups of 2-3.
We will continue to watch the Planning Commission and City Council packets for information.
In the meantime, keep letting CC and PC know where you stand! Copy and Paste their emails below. Let the City hear your voice!
