First the dispatchers, now the crossing guards, who's next?

This week we are asking everyone to please take a moment to write or call the Mayor of Highland Park and the members of the Borough Council to ask where they stand on the issue of privatization of public services including the crossing guards. As the Mayor and Borough Council have previously privatized the dispatchers, it's only fair to ask where they stand on the issue of privatization of all other public services provided by the town. If due to life constraints, you're not able to email or call everyone on the Borough Council then you should concentrate on the two council members that are on the ballot for the November 5th election. Those two council members are Stephany Kim-Chohan and Norma Iris Vargas. Please see all contact information below for how to get in touch with your local representatives.
