Good Morning Fellow Residents, Concerned Citizens and Petition Supporters 

THANK YOU for taking the time to sign this Petition calling on the Minister for Local Government, the Mayor and Councillors of Liverpool Council to overturn the decision made on the 1st March 2023 to engage a private company to run the Liverpool Council Elections in September 2024.

This decision by the Mayor and his team of Councillors was made in a Closed and Confidential Session of the Liverpool Council meeting without prior Community Consultation.

It should also be noted that the decision was made during the NSW State Election when many residents and Ratepayers were distracted by the State Election Campaign.

There are many questions to be asked and answered about the reasons that this action was taken by the Mayor and the 5 Councillors who voted in favour of the decision, which will come later.

For now I need your assistance to help spread the word about this issue.

Please share the Petition link to your family and friends in Liverpool to help create more awareness of this matter to Reinstate the NSW Electoral Commission as the manager of the Liverpool Council Elections.
