Rishi Sunak has pledged to go ahead with the privatisation of Channel 4.

I wonder why he's going ahead with such a wildly unpopular plan that makes no economic sense and flies in the face of the government's plans to level up?

Oh, right. 

No change there then.

Protecting Westminster careers from the scrutiny of investigative journalism is more important than the good of the United Kingdom. 

So much for levelling up. So much for serious politics.

It's all just the same old same old: banal, uninspiring, self serving.
