Several local vets and organisations have also all agreed to take signatures for the petition and display helpful posters I created to let you know what to do if you animal is poisoned.

Poisoning animals is illegal.

There are laws in place in to protect the animals. The difficulty lies in prosecution due to lack of CCTV - this is where you should have CCTV or recordable doorbells on your properties, and be vigilant towards any people who have a history of poisoning animals.You must report any crimes or suspicions to the police and demand a statement is made. The officers I spoke to, investigated my case and "hope(s) this work will go to a higher level".
