There are about two weeks left in the current legislative session. That is plenty of time for a former Bloomington legislator turned paved trail lobbyist to cash in on favors owed to get language pried into a perfectly good piece of legislation that could fund the proposed paved trail. She has been there. She is very good at the last minute belittling of the will of the people. How do we stop this nightmare of a boondoggle from becoming reality? Tell them that building a many million dollar paved trail in a flood plain is a foolish way to waste the taxpayer's money.
