In case you haven't heard the news, those in charge at Hampshire County Council have told me that they are abandoning the plan to open up the northern end of Junction Road, Totton.

It is fantastic news ;

They have finally listened to us locals.

They have saved £1.5 million

The existing bus route remains (and is much safer)

The Asda bus stop will continue to be used, as now.

It is a real victory for people power. Thank you so much for signing the petition and to those who were prepared to attend a protest last weekend (which I had to hastily cancel!) I wish I could share a glass of bubbly with you all !
