I wanted to share some big news. Our petition was recently featured in the Vermont Daily Chronicle. They are calling our collective effort a "petition surge," and it’s because of the 222 of you who have stood up for our community.

As many of you know, I run Ancient Moon Healing & Crystals out of my home. My home is where I raise my children, where I fight my health battles, and where I create for all of you. The thought of "cuckooing"—where out-of-state traffickers forcibly take over a neighbor's home—isn't just a political issue for me. It’s a threat to our sanctuary.

The news analysis confirms what we’ve been saying:

• A "Well-Oiled Machine": Traffickers make $5,000 a week while facing sentences that are just "business expenses."

• Rural Target: In Lamoille County, overdose deaths spiked 118.4% in a single year as these groups move into our backyards.

• Legislative Opportunity: House Bill 780 is finally being discussed.

I have updated our petition demands to include specific fixes for the $649,126 prosecution funding gap and to demand maximum sentencing for the "kingpins" exploiting our neighbors.
