As a resident of Brent, I am disheartened and frustrated to see the constant dismal state of our roads and streets, a consequence of the council's failure in managing waste properly. Our locality is plagued with litter, impacting not just the aesthetic but the overall environment, mental health of its citizens, and commercial viability of the area. Brent has been recognised as the fly tipping capital of the UK and yet still nothing is done.

We, the residents of Brent, request the local council to take immediate accountability of their failure in waste management. We demand the council to urgently allocate funds and implement effective strategies to address this escalating issue. We deserve clean streets, a healthy environment, and an aesthetically pleasing neighborhood. 

We Brent to:

1. Achieve “Grade B” Standard: Council must provide a clear plan to consistently meet “Grade B” street standards

2. Modern Anti-Littering Tactics: Use CCTV, digital reporting, and data-driven patrols to curb littering and fly-tipping.

3. Stricter Penalties: Increase fines and run awareness campaigns to prevent waste issues.

4. Quarterly Progress Reports: Require quarterly updates on cleanliness improvements and enforcement actions.
