Like many, at Compassion in Politics, we have been concerned about the way the BBC’s mistakes are being weaponised to undermine the BBC as an institution by certain sections of the press.
Today, our director, Jennifer Nadel, who was once a reporter for the BBC, went on GB News to speak out against that and the racist attitudes that the channel amplifies.
The BBC is one of the most trusted news providers in the world. At a time when factual truth is under attack, we feel it is vital to defend it.
The exchange was direct and at times hostile, highlighting the growing divide between evidence-based journalism and the sensationalism that now dominates parts of our media landscape.

Thank you for being part of this movement with us.
Best wishes,
