Hello everyone,

We are about to enter what could be the most nasty and toxic election campaign in British history.

Thanks to you, we have already managed to get the Speaker of the House of Commons and over 100 MPs have signed up to support a new code of conduct. 

Now we need to send the same message to everyone involved in the election.

#IfWeDidThis and if we behaved the way they did at school, college or work we’d be expelled or sacked. Yet somehow, the unacceptable in politics has become acceptable. It’s up to all of us to tell them it isn’t.

With the general election campaign now underway we have a huge opportunity to tell as many politicians as possible about the need to put respect, compassion, and inclusion first.

We have teamed-up with Compassion in Politics again to ask every candidate in this election to #StopTheNastiness by pledging to:

1. Campaign with respect
2. Promote compassion
3. Call out hate.
