We have concerns about spending our public money on a new statue that's meant to highlight the efforts of specific groups in WW1 and WW2. We feel like all the statues and monuments we already have do a great job of honoring everyone who served, no matter who they were or where they came from.

We're asking to reconsider the statue plan. Let's think about how it affects what brings us together and how we're using our public funds.
