To the Consulate of Morocco in Montreal, Canadian authorities, and the global community,

What is happening in Morocco right now is a cruelty beyond comprehension. In preparation for FIFA 2030, innocent, defenseless stray animals are being brutally killed, and the Moroccan authorities continue to deny the truth, labeling irrefutable evidence as “fake news.” The world cannot allow this horror to continue. We have the proof, and it is impossible to ignore.

These are not just animals; they are lives—beings with feelings, who deserve safety and compassion. Stray animals are being hunted, poisoned, and killed in cold blood to make Morocco “appear” clean and ready for an international event. This act of mass slaughter is an abomination, and the international community cannot, and must not, stand by silently.

The authorities continue to lie, claiming it is not happening, but we have witnessed the slaughter with our own eyes. Every image, every piece of evidence, shows the horrifying truth—innocent lives being snuffed out for the sake of appearances.

This is a call to action.

We demand that the Moroccan authorities:

1- End the Killing: Immediately stop the massacre of innocent stray animals in Morocco. These creatures deserve the right to live without fear of being killed in the name of an event.

2- Acknowledge the Truth: Stop denying the irrefutable evidence. The international community is watching, and we will not allow lies to silence the voices of those who have witnessed these horrors.

3- Hold Those Responsible Accountable: Those who are responsible for these atrocities must be held accountable for their actions. No more cover-ups, no more lies. The truth must come to light.

4- Promote Compassion and Humane Solutions: We call on the Moroccan government to properly implement the 2021 law aimed at controlling the stray animal population through humane methods such as vaccination, sterilization, and care. This law was created to address the issue, yet it is being misused to justify mass killings of innocent animals. We demand that Morocco focus on humane solutions, not brutal slaughter, and ensure the law is implemented to protect both public health and animal welfare.

This massacre must end. We, the global citizens, demand that Morocco take responsibility for its actions, protect these innocent lives, and uphold the values of compassion and humanity. We will not be silent. We will not allow this cruelty to go unnoticed.
