As you may know, getting mainstream media coverage for the SMWCGE Petition and the 1st August Reparations March which is a vehicle for delivery of the petition, has been a challenge. The 'Stop the Maangamizi' campaign in conjunction with the Afrikan Emancipation Day Reparations March Committee (AEDRMC) has benefited from a concerned supporter's fundraising appeal for media coverage to raise awareness of harm suffered by the Afrikan Heritage (Black) Community and Reparations, vowing that we will be ignored no more! An advertisement was published in the Metro Newspaper today so that a broader audience could be reached where the March is taking place (in London) on 1st August and the SMWCGE Petition will be handed in. In London, the Metro is the most read national newspaper with nearly 2 million readers every day of the working week. A link to a copy of the advert is attached.
