Greetings SMWCGE Petition Supporter We hope that you will be able to join representatives of the 'Stop the Maangamizi: We Charge Genocide/Ecocide' Campaign Team on the 3rd Annual Afrikan Emancipation Day Reparations March on 1st August 2016. The March commences from Windrush Square in Brixton where Libation/Spiritual Opening followed by a Political Rally will commence at 10am. At around 12 noon the various marchers will proceed to the Houses of Parliament, where the 'People's Open Parliamentary Session on Afrikan Reparations' (POPSAR) will take place from 2:30pm. At 3pm we will observe 3 minutes silence for all our Ancestors who perished in the various phases of resistance to the Maangamizi (Afrikan hellacaust of chattel, colonial and neocolonial enslavement). Even if you are not going to join us on the March, we urge you to observe this 3 minutes silence at 3pm, wherever you are in the world. A delegation will hand in the SMWCGE Petition at 4pm. It is expected that marchers will start making their way back to Windrush Square from 4:30pm. There will be an evening Edutainment Rally at Windrush Square between 6 and 9pm when the proceedings will close.
