We had an incredible turnout at our community BBQ calling out KingSett this past weekend. We hope you made it out for a hot dog!
We are building great momentum as we continue the fight against KingSett Capital in Parkdale.
Regrettably, we have lost access to the space we were using to hold our bi-monthly meetings on Thursday evenings. So if you were planning to come out tonight please note tonight’s meeting will be cancelled.
Our meetings will be postponed until we can find another space. If you have any ideas or access to a space where we could meet for a couple of hours in the evenings twice a month, please let us know! Email: housingjustice4parkdale@gmail.com if you have any leads!

- We are still waiting to hear from the province regarding KingSett’s appeal to have the condo application approved - if you have any lawyers or urban planners who would be interested in helping us with this process please let us know! Email us: housingjustice4parkdale@gmail.com
- Yesterday many of our members went to City Hall to support our friends downtown who are also fighting KingSett (a 46-storey luxury condo proposed at Dundas & Sherbourne). In a surprising turn of events, the community council LISTENED to the people and did not approve KingSett’s latest zoning amendment— another victory for the community!
We are really having an impact!
