CLAYTON & HENRY COUNTIES: OUR VOICES, OUR VOTES, OUR COMMUNITIES!

Early voting begins October 13.Election Day is November 3, 2026. The time to make our voices heard is NOW!
To the residents of Clayton and Henry counties: this election is about more than political parties and campaign promises. It is about our neighborhoods, our quality of life, our environment, our utility costs, our property values, and the future we are leaving for our children and grandchildren.
For those of us who have been speaking out against the expansion of data centers in our communities, we understand that a moratorium is a pause, not a permanent solution. While moratoriums can provide time to review proposals and reconsider development policies, our communities must also ask what happens when that pause ends.
We deserve elected officials who will listen to residents, take our concerns seriously, and explore every lawful option available to prevent harmful or unwanted data center development—not simply delay it.
A moratorium is a starting point, not the finish line.
If you are concerned about the potential impact of data centers on our communities, including electricity demand, water consumption, noise, land use, infrastructure, and long-term environmental effects, now is the time to make your expectations clear.
YOUR VOTE IS YOUR POWER. USE IT!
Our elected officials are entrusted with the responsibility of representing the people who put them in office. Public service should mean listening to the community—not expecting the community to accept decisions without being heard.
If you have attended meetings, signed petitions, contacted commissioners, spoken against unwanted development, or advocated for stronger protections, do not stop now. Take that same determination to the ballot box.
And if you have not been involved before, this is your opportunity to become part of the conversation.
Vote informed. Research the candidates. Review their records and public statements. Find out who is willing to address your concerns with concrete action. Talk to your neighbors, share reliable voting information, and encourage every eligible voter in your household to participate.
We cannot demand accountability and then surrender our opportunity to exercise it.
CLAYTON COUNTY AND HENRY COUNTY — LET'S SHOW UP!
Our communities are not just locations on a development map. They are our homes. They are where our families live, where our children grow, and where our futures are being shaped.
We have the right to demand thoughtful development, meaningful safeguards, transparency, and representatives who take their responsibility to the public seriously.
On November 3, let our participation demonstrate that community voices matter. Let every candidate understand that residents are paying attention—not just during election season, but long after the votes are counted.
Vote for accountability. Vote informed. Make your voice heard.
Our communities deserve to be heard, respected, and protected.
