The Calvin Center property on Woolsey Rd. is going before the City of Hampton Council for annexation on October 13th at 6PM for a 16 BUILDING DATA CENTER CAMPUS entiled, "Project Willow” !! Clayton County has already filed an objection to the annexation, but we still have to show up to Hampton City Hall and make our voices heard loud and clear!

"CLAYTON COUNTY — WE ARE NOT DONE FIGHTING DATA CENTERS YET!

Today, I received official notice from the City of Hampton that the Calvin Center property on Woolsey Road, along with additional properties, has applied to be annexed into the City of Hampton and rezoned to Mixed-Use (MU). This is serious, and the residents of Clayton County—especially South Clayton need to understand how we got here. I will be sharing the full timeline, including decisions made by the Clayton County Board of Commissioners in 2023, how those decisions connect to what we are dealing with today, and why we still have a fight ahead of us when it comes to protecting this area from data center development. I will also explain what this annexation request means, what options we have now, and the steps I am taking.
