Just wanted to keep you in the loop regarding the dubious trade in Black-headed gull eggs - you can read my update HERE.
Ever the optimist, I had hoped to announce the complete withdrawal of Natural England's licences that enable the harvesting of gull eggs for human consumption, but instead I've stumbled on a mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes. 
Gull eggs seem to be on sale - but where exactly are they coming from?
Your guess is as good as mine. So I asked Natural England....
