Just to thank everyone so much for their encouraging feedback following yesterday's update, and thanks especially to all those who suggested submitting a complaint through the Information Commissioner's Office - I have now done this and await their reply....
Several people have told me that they have written to Natural England and their MPs over this matter and that really is great to hear. Do please let me know how you get on and what they said in answer to your messages.
By failing to respond to my foi request on time, I feel Natural England have shown that they have little respect for our views and concerns. But that doesn't mean we will just go away. We're here for the long haul.
