It's Even Worse Than We Thought - 70,000 Birds of 65 Species

Hi folks,
We're nearly there, a few signatures away from 100,000.
I'm pleased to report that we already have the support of a couple of highly respected MPs, one of whom has assured me that he will table a written parliamentary question to the Environment Secretary, which is fantastic news!
I will of course let you know the outcome of this and Mr Gove's response when I have it, although I am still awaiting a reply from him regarding my request for a meeting....
Meanwhile, I have at last been able to obtain some detailed statistics regarding the actual numbers of birds for which licences have been issued - and it makes for terribly shocking reading. Thousands of birds of practically every species you could think of. It is appalling.
You can read about it on my blog:-
Rest assured, in the light of these latest horrible revelations, that I will continue to push for reform of Natural England's licencing system.
It is vitally important to keep sharing the petition, only public pressure can stop Natural England from issuing these licences, bring about more transparency in their terrible licensing system and make them answerable to us, the British public.
Thanks for all your amazing support, please keep sharing this, we can and will make a difference.
Best,
Jase
