Please would you be kind enough to contact Mayor Ron Nirenberg and ask him to look at how the funding for San Antonio Animal Services works—there has been a recent problem with spay and neutering funds—and ask him to explore ways to stop these very short holds of 3-5 days on healthy adoptable dogs. Their euthanasia rate would be even higher without an army of volunteers reaching out to rescues—they can really do better. Thank you if you feel you can do this,
