Thank You For Responding

I just wanted to thank all of you that picked up the phone and called or wrote e-mails to the White Lake Twp Supervisor and the Oxbow Lake Association President. Supervisor Kowall addressed the residents by first stating that he "never knew much about swans until about 4:30 pm yesterday". He said something like he didn't know who leaked the meeting information out, but that he and the association president were the two most hated people in the world right now. They received correspondence from Belgium, Australia, France and apparently a lot more places. The president of the association had people emailing him and cursing him out. When the meeting actually began, they started off by saying the meeting was strictly informational and it was for whether or not the Oxbow Lake Homeowners Association wanted to establish a lake board or not. The problem was the petition they sent around for people to sign, had 4 other items and one was to have a swan and goose round up next spring. It is not a swan roundup, because shooting a swan in the head with a silencer is not a round up... Anyway, nothing was really accomplished, so they are having another meeting on September 11th. My friends and I will be attending. Will keep everyone posted when more help is needed. THANK YOU!!!! Karen
