Please help... make a quick call to save the mute swans of New York. It will help swans in other states if the bill gets passed. The information is below in a message from Sheila Bolin. Thanks, Karen Hi Everyone: Please let as many people as possible know that they need to contact Senator Avella's office this week. Avella's Albany office number is 581-455-2210 and his district office number is 718-357-3094. The Mute Swan Bill (A09289) is ready to go to a floor vote in the Assembly. However, the comparable senate bill (S06630) has not moved and has been sitting in the environmental committee since February 1st. We need to get Avella to get the Mute Swan bill to move through the process and onto the Senate floor so that once the Assembly votes, so can the Senate and get the bill to Cuomo during the session so it can be overridden if he vetoes it again. This all has to happen prior to June. Please place on your social media and ask people to contact Senator Avella's office to get the bill moving forward. Thanks.
