Pollution caused by the Jetpur Textile Dying Association in conjunction with the Government of Gujarat, India, poses a grave threat to the Arabian Sea. The proposed Deep Sea Effluent Discharge Project, under the same partnership, serverely risks harm to marine life, weather patterns, and fishing industry. Additionally, this project can have global effects. We must remember, this project is a clear violation of the London Convention 1972/1996 protocol, a treaty that establishes standards to prevent marine pollution.
