Stop the Insanity of Mountain View High School - Stop Blocking Everything!

Stop the Insanity of Mountain View High School - Stop Blocking Everything!
The Issue
Mountain View High School is a public high school in Meridian, Idaho, and is home to over 1,000 students. It's a beautiful school, with many great educators and students located on its premises.
However, my dear reader, this school is apart of the expansive West Ada School District. Not that there's anything wrong with this, but for years, West Ada has implemented a strict internet security policy that has limited access to many vital online resources and services. Over the last year, with the inclusion of GoGuardian technology, it has become even more restrictive than ever.
While it is clearly vital for educators and administrators to be able to control how students use their technology, I believe that there is no reason for many of the current policies. These policies include, but are not limited to:
No Games (even those designed to be educational, such as those on sites like Cool Math Games)
No Movie & TV Streaming Services (Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Tubi, etc.)
No Music Streaming Services (Spotify, YouTube Music, Pandora, etc.)
No Unapproved Apps (Any applications not pre-approved by the West Ada District)
Restricted/Limited Access to Many Sites & Services
There are many students who rely on school-ordained devices to complete homework, assignments, and even for entertainment during non-school hours. Please... Sign this petition so that we can gain some ground with the West Ada School District, and hopefully have some games, music, streaming, and a wider variety of resources to help us complete our work. I thank you for your consideration in this matter.
