TUESDAY MORNING: You’re Invited to the Commissioners’ Going-Away Party

Join Hagerstown Rapid Response and Washington County Indivisible tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, at 9 a.m. outside 100 W. Washington St. in Hagerstown for a protest with a party theme.
We’re marking the commissioners’ last meeting before the November 3 election with music, friends, and a clear message: Washington County deserves better, and we intend to vote them out. Bring your signs, bring your friends, and help us give them a send-off.
Residents deserve answers about the proposed ICE detention center, data center plans, and the decisions being made behind closed doors that could leave our communities paying the price. We’ve spent months digging through public records and sharing what we find. Now we need to make sure our neighbors hear about it before they vote.
Help us take that information directly to voters by joining our canvassing team. No canvassing experience is needed, and even a couple of hours can help us reach residents who haven’t heard what their commissioners have been doing.
