Village green application

Hello all, and thank you once again for signing the petition and joining the campaign to stop the development on Tongfields.
The Dunscar Residents Association are taking another step to try to protect the green belt land we know as Tongfields.
The DRA are going to submit an application form to attempt to class this land as a 'Village Green'.
A village green application is a legal process, primarily under the Commons Act 2006, to register a piece of land as a protected town or village green, affording it significant legal protection against development.
To succeed, applicants must demonstrate the community have used the land for lawful sports and pastimes for at least 20 years, without permission, force, or secrecy ("as of right")
That is where you can help, if you have personal experience of using Tongfields i.e. to walk, run, exercise, dog walks, sports, to socialise with family/friends etc. within the last 20 years, the DRA would be grateful if you can complete the survey in the link below.
This information can then be submitted as part of the village green application.
